Below, you will find links to our release notes regarding the last several Moodle upgrades and notices regarding any unresolved glitches we are experiencing. This list will be updated regularly with site news, so check back frequently. 

Upgrade Notes

• 4.5 MP4 Upgrade Notes - Released 2/3/2026
  • Key features - Table of Contents progress bars added and subsections are added in full.
• 4.5 MP3 Upgrade Notes - Released on 12/30/2025. 
  • Key features- reworked Table of Contents menu, drag and drop moving of activities, create activities anywhere on the page, completion conditions update.
• 4.5 MP2 Upgrade Notes - released on 10/15/2025.
  • Key features- upgrades to the Personalized Learning Designer; addition of the Brickfield Used Questions Report and an Accessibility menu.
• 4.5 MP1 Upgrade - released on 08/06/2025; no features added, bug fixes only.
• 4.5 Upgrade Notes- released on 07/10/2025
  • Key features- upgrades to Assignments and the Question Bank; addition of new fonts and the ability to change font sizes in the text editor.

Unresolved Glitches

• Forums grader sidebar does not display scrollbar properly if the grading panel is closed and reopened.
• Graded items are assigned as extra credit and you did not select it. Please view our "Gradebook Glitch: Check Your Gradebook!" document for a full context and breakdown.
• Forums- cannot create new forums. A temporary fix was applied for this issue on 9/5/25. Please report to DL if you still experience this issue.
  • A work around exists if the temporary fix does not: duplicate an existing forum (not the announcements forum), move it to the module you want it in, and edit its settings to fit your needs.
