My aunt inspired me to work in the field I do today.  I have always wanted to do something helping other people.  At the time that I chose the medical field, I was going through a divorce and had two small children.  I knew I had to do something fast and my aunt had been an RN for years.  She suggested EMS to me to get me "gut ready" for being a nurse and it was a quicker schooling route.  That is what I chose and worked my way through school to become a Paramedic.  Time to get that RN degree now! :)
