I'm currently a high school student taking dual enrollment classes so I can become a speech pathologist. What inspired me was my own speech delay when I was younger. I was depressed for some time because I couldn't pronounce certain words, so my mom got me a speech teacher to help me. That teacher would always put a smile on my face, and they still hold a special place in my heart. Being able to do that for others is amazing to me, and I would like to do that as well.
