The person that inspired me to work toward my welding diploma is my granddaddy.  He has always been a hobby farmer and has grown to over 100 acres of his own farmland (not including cow pasture).  When things break, he learned to fix them on his own.  When I was a little kid, I would watch him with his welding helmet in have on my own protection equipment.  I knew I wanted to learn the craft.  I am not into my 4th semester of welding (while still in high school) and have really enjoyed it.
