My kids inspired me to join the health care field, on top of taking care of my son who is always sick for so long kept me in the health care field.  I love helping people, those that need help and can't really do for themselves.  I have worked in healthcare for 16 years. This inspired me to take it to a new level and go to school to be an RN.

My Mother is my inspiration. Ever since I've been a young girl, I've always wanted to be a nurse because she made everything in the Healthcare field seem so cool. My inspiration to start cosmetology as a young black girl, not being able to do hair means you’d have to pay somebody or learn yourself , everybody prices are up and sometimes it’s hard to pay 200+ for some braids etc. learning my hair and how to do it will save me the trouble of paying someone.

I would say my mother and my sister, my mother works with medical pills and she did a lot to get there and she has been doing it for a long time. My sister works at a dentist with kids and she has also been through a lot to get in the position, so that showed me that you have to work hard to get what you want to have.
