My grandad inspired me to go to school and go high when I finish. My grandad recently passed away. He owned he own truck business and had 2 trucks on the road. He was 73, still driving. Also no one in my family went to college, I will be the first to ever graduate. 

The person who inspired me to pursue a career in nursing is my grandmother. She was a nurse for many years and  shared stories about the people she cared for and how  it felt to make a difference in their lives. I chose nursing because I want to be that source of care and support for others.

I have known since I was a young boy that I wanted to be a firefighter. Nothing or no one has truly inspired me to take this path. I just always felt like it was what I was supposed to do. 

I chose to work in this specific career field because I love encouraging people to do better and to help people when it come to specific situations. Also, my mom inspired me she took the same degree but I plan on finishing bigger and better.

I was inspired to become a nurse because I’ve always had a passion for helping others and making a difference in people’s lives. Seeing how nurses provide comfort, care, and support to patients during their most vulnerable moments truly motivates me. I admire their strength, compassion, and ability to stay calm under pressure. My goal is to be that kind of person  someone who can bring both care and hope to others when they need it most.

My brother in law is an hvac contractor which inspired me to get in the field of hvac.

My mom inspired me to be in the career that am I now because I finished school going for cosmetology so she pushed me to keep going.

My Aunt Ann who  works for the Army as a IT tech, inspired me to choose IT Information Technology as my career field. 

My kids are my moving force! They inspire me to keep going and achieve any and everything I can and it's all for them! I enjoy taking online classes because I work a full time job. I hope after the first degree, I'll keep going and getting more and more educated

What inspired me to mostly work in the career that I have chosen is personal experiences.While coming up in my life,I use myself by children with different ideas,skills and goals.I can share a story about why i chosen this career.I am desire to help others to achieve and accomplishment their goals.I like going helping other reach there goals in life so god can give me more ideas and expectations in life.My belief is that someone will or achieve something in life.And another thing the reason why i chose this field because my Grand ma would have want me to continue my life as before she left me.She knew I had my life on the right track as well.

What inspired me to work in the career that I've chosen is experience in life. While growing up, I found myself surrounded by people with different skills and talent. That motivated me to learn more about myself. I've been through lots of different environments, the good and the bad. I've learned that in life you have to be strong, brave, motivated, lots of confidence, loyal, honest, self encourage and a will to help others. Learning to find what works best for me is Art, cooking, a leader and role model for children. I've learned how to do all of these things while growing up, which inspired me to choose Business and Early childhood education. Working with children, teaching them a lot of things that I've learned so they can have a solid foundation and a bright future.

My inspiration to become a Registered Nurse came from my mother. She was a single mom who raised seven children on her own, and watching her strength, resilience, and compassion had a profound impact on me. Despite all the challenges she faced, she always found a way to take care of us, and she did it with love and determination. Her example showed me what it means to care for others selflessly, even in the toughest circumstances. Three years ago, we had to watch my brother suffer with stage 4 lung cancer. That too was another reason for my career decision. Becoming a nurse allows me to carry on that legacy of caring and allow me to be there to comfort family in need. I’ve seen how powerful compassion can be, not only in a family but also in a healthcare setting. My mother inspired me to use that same spirit to help others heal, to be a source of support during difficult times, and to create a better future for my own family through hard work and service.

My father inspired me to be in the career field. I have grown up around him all my life and watched him work everyday. He have been employed with the shipyard for over 20 years. He went to work right after high school and he have been there ever since. I always wanted to become a welder and work at the shipyard. I hope to be enrolled in the apprenticeship program after finishing school. I look forward to making my father proud of my accomplishments and following along in his footsteps.

It would be hard to pinpoint just one source of inspiration in my career choice. I am currently a CNA 1, which has become a true passion of mine. My desire to help people has always been a guiding force in my life. Becoming a CNA allows me to make direct, positive impact on the lives of others, offering comfort, care, and support during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Watching my son focus hard on his craft being a truck driver and he is good at it motivated me to start back what I once started at college and push myself. I love things related to business and being in an office, so it let me focus on updates on my craft.

I was especially struck by the section that discussed "doomscrolling" and how it can contribute to anxiety and stress. It really made me reflect on my own habits and how easy it is to fall into that cycle.

My siblings and my family inspired me to be in my career field.

I was originally inspired by my dad and my older brother because I always found what they did to be super cool so ever since then I decided to choose this field.

My parents inspired me to do HVAC because my dad did welding before and he told me about an HVAC class here so I tried in it high school and liked it so I continued.

I am 68 years old, and I always enjoy helping people, so my husband inspired me to continue my education.

I have always wanted to be in the Health Care field and my parents have always inspired me to pursue it.

The idea of being helpful to others is what has inspired me to want to do something in the criminal justice or sonography area.

I chose my career field because I love the Health Care field. I love helping people and being there for someone in need.  I love to work with people and watch them get better and prosper.  Seeing people getting better and being the best version of themselves is very rewarding for me. 

I was inspired by my great-grandma to work in the medical field, specifically as a physicians assistant. She talked about what she did when she worked in medical and I felt that I could find similar accomplishment in the field as well. 

My inspiration to start cosmetology as a young black girl, not being able to do hair means you’d have to pay somebody or learn yourself , everybody prices are up and sometimes it’s hard to pay 200+ for some braids etc. learning my hair and how to do it will save me the trouble of paying someone.

As a teacher with a young child, I was inspired to work in education by the desire to make a meaningful difference—not just for my own child, but for all children. Watching my child grow, learn, and ask questions reminded me how powerful and important early learning experiences are. It motivated me to create a classroom where every student feels supported, encouraged, and excited to learn, just like I want for my own child.

My inspiration for taking Criminal justice roots back to when I was growing up. I would always watch how courageous police officers were putting their life's on the line for other people and as they helped aid citizens without ever questioning why. This class would help me get a head start on my future goal.

My inspiration for getting into psychology comes from all the other therapists and mental health workers I’ve learned about; having the knowledge and ability to help other people has been an inspiration of mine since I was a little kid.

My mom inspired me to work in my chosen career field for Biology/ Zoology because me and her both worked at a pet shop, and had a pet sitting business.

I would say my mother and my sister, my mother works with medical pills and she did a lot to get there and she has been doing it for a long time. My sister works at a dentist with kids and she has also been through a lot to get in the position, so that showed me that you have to work hard to get what you want to have.

Many of my friends over the years studied cosmetology and I enjoyed helping and watching. That combined with the ability to work for myself and on my own schedule in this particular field convinced me to give it a try. 

What inspired me was my curiosity about the subject/trade for a while. And what better way to learn about something intriguing than by studying it?

I guess my mom because she always tells me to go for what I want and I want to become a nurse.
