About Me:
Welcome Students! We're glad you decided to participate in this Moodle training. While it is not required for you to complete and does not count towards your GPA, this training will make navigating in Moodle easier and help you to be successful in your classes. Remember to keep your login information secure and do not share it with anyone.I have worked at Roanoke-Chowan Community College for 4 years, first as a library assistant and now as the Director of Distance Learning. I hold a master's degree in Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Martin.Below, you will find my contact information. This is where you will find instructions to help you get started in the course.
In each of the courses for which you are registered, you will need to read the syllabus found in the "Syllabus & Syllabus Quiz" section as soon as possible. Many students find it helpful to print the syllabus for easy reference. All of your online and hybrid courses will also have a Syllabus Quiz that is used to verify your enrollment that must be completed by a certain date. Reading the syllabus and completing the quiz should be your top priorities upon starting your online and hybrid classes.
